Casio CASSIOPEIA E-125

Strengths: Metal body, solid and rugged and classic

Weakness: for the price : absolutely none.

After two years, this is still one of the classics in pocket PC arena, like 57 chevy, this one never quits, and dependable.it can compete against new 206 ARM machines, you dont need a fast CPU on these machine anyways. I just got a new Toshiba e310, screen quality is nowhere near this one, and it is not much fater either, I wish Casio makes smaller Pocket PCs. Too bad Palm users do not comprehend...

Casio CASSIOPEIA E-125

Strengths: Amazes me daily with what it can do read ebooks in all formats pocket microsoft word excel etc games movies music everything without locking up too frequently (probably less than your main pc)

Weakness: storage rom progs can't be erased e,g to upgrade the installed windows media player to e.g 7.1 it'll keep both progs wasting space

great machine few quirky hangups but not tempted to upgrade to ppc 2002 it still does it all and if the new IBM microdrive cflash type 11 slot works on the e125 we'll have (currently 360 mb 512mb 1gb storage solution in a compactflash hard drives a new 4gb drive is coming from Hitachi in the spring it should be supported the e100 e105 and e200 is supported ours has not yet been tested here's...

Casio CASSIOPEIA E-125

Strengths: Great price. I paid $230.19 shipped at techforless.com. Built in compact flash slot. Trust me you will want it. Get at least a 64MB card to add to it. MIPS CPU. Comes with rechargable battery.

Weakness: Slow on NES (Nintendo) emulation. (at least the emu I have used) Display is not viewable from an angle. Big compared to other pricey PDAs (Was not a factor for me)

I recommend this PDA if you are looking for a color PDA that is fast and cheap. It is OK for playing some games. My wife likes Jewel. I like the Advantgo service - It downloads web pages for viewing later. I'm still confused about what programs do work on this PDA. IT is a MIPS processor (It has so far ran all programs for MIPS). It is a Windows CE device but not all WINCE programs work on it. It...

Casio CASSIOPEIA E-125

Strengths: Very versatile, great display (except bright day light), good handling, good battery capacity: gets me flawlessly through the day

Weakness: A little on the heavy side, to thick for a shirt pocket, cover for CF-card flimsy at best, when using a modem no CF-card can be present, screen barely readable in daylight, documentation

This Pocket PC is a solid machine (except that CF-card cover) which serves me as a PDA, a MP3 player, a voice recorder, and as a game boy. For Voice/music listening an earphone can be attached. I wish I could connect an external microphone. The market does not respond (yet?) to the Pocket PCs to well, there is no external keyboard (to my knowledge) and getting a plug-in camera is close yo...
